Phew, it’s hot! I hope you are all managing to keep cool.
We have continued to rehearse despite the heat as we have our November show to work towards. Our family and friends show this year will be a 1970s themed show. We were looking through the songs of the seventies, and we realised how many great songs there are, so we thought it would be fun to focus on a few of our favourites- including Christmas songs! (Although it feels a bit weird singing Christmas when it’s 30 degrees C outside)

We were hosted by Anthony, Bass, for one of our rehearsals in his amazing kitchen (see pics below). Somehow we all fitted in and it was great fun. Anthony spoilt us rotten with Prosecco and canapés - we all agreed that we should do it more often! Thank you Anthony.
We have also visited Beaumont retirement Village (See pics below) for a summertime performance. We love performing for the residents and they treat us so well. It provided us with an opportunity to try out some of our new songs such as Video Killed the Radio Star and Mr Blue Sky. Janice treated us to a solo of Beauty and the Beast which was beautiful. All in all, it went really well and We really appreciated the sandwiches afterwards.
